Great Point Kitchen is an independently owned catering company that specializes in creating wholesome, flavorful and memorable meals to match any event you are trying to create. Whether it is dinner for four, a cocktail party, a post-wedding brunch at home, a boxed lunch at your office, a picnic or tailgate; it has been our lifelong passion to bring those events to life with an amazing menu, ambiance, and fantastic food and drink.

I am LeNan, founder of Great Point Kitchen & Events. I love to cook and entertain and as a little girl I loved to cook with my mother, father and grandmother; every important event in my life and in the life of my family, is told as a story through food and celebration.  It is my wish to make every one of your events memorable and to have your own story told through the soul of the food made for you and your guests by me.  All of our food is prepared from scratch and is made with love.

The Name Great Point Kitchen & Events
I am a transplanted New Englander having been born and raised on Cape Cod. I attended The Ohio State University and stayed in Columbus; I love the life I have made here.

The Great Point Lighthouse on Nantucket was originally built in 1818 and was destroyed by a storm in 1984. My father was a marine engineer. His company redesigned and rebuilt the Great Point Lighthouse and it was dedicated in September 1986.  The lighthouse is our legacy and my family is  extraordinarily proud of it.  Great Point Kitchen & Events is named in honor of my father, my family and our lighthouse.
